Anusapati’s actual works have the capability to give us deep impressions and enlightening visions that spring from his thoughts and sensitiveness as an artist regarding the forms and materials that he uses and takes from daily environment and observable current crisis. Anusapati has been exclusively with woods since the early 1990’s. He consciously makes use of just wood fragments or waste of trees already tumbled or felled. That is after other people take the lion’s share of the body of the tree to make various articles to serve their daily life. Quite often, Anusapati will make sculptures from cheap, common kinds of wood (the one known as mindi wood, for instance) that people use as firewood.
